Who can use Reminu

You need to be 18 or older to hold a Reminu account. You sign in with a code sent to your email, so keep access to your email secure. Please use one account for yourself.

Your memories belong to you

Everything you add to Reminu — your recordings, photos, writing, and the memories they form — remains yours. You are not giving them to us.

You give us permission to store, transcribe, generate narratives from, and display your content for one purpose only: to provide Reminu to you and to the people you choose to share with. This permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.

AI-created narratives and transcripts

Reminu uses AI to write narratives and to transcribe voice recordings. These are created by a machine. They can contain mistakes, gaps, or interpretations that are not quite right. Treat them as a helpful starting point, not an exact record — and review anything that matters to you. You can edit or regenerate them.

Plans and payment

Reminu has a free tier. Paid plans add more space and features and are billed monthly or yearly through our payment provider, Stripe.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We will give notice before any price change. [Add your refund policy.]

Sealed messages, the Vault, and trusted people

Reminu lets you write messages to be delivered later, keep private material in a Vault, and name people you trust to look after your albums or release a message at the right time.

Reminu acts as a custodian for this material and will make reasonable efforts to deliver and protect it as you have asked. Reminu is not a will, a legal estate document, or a substitute for legal, financial, or medical advice. For anything with legal effect, please speak to a qualified professional.

Using Reminu responsibly

Please do not use Reminu to store or share unlawful content, to upload other people’s personal or sensitive information without their consent, or to attack, disrupt, or misuse the service. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Reminu in care settings

Where Reminu is provided to you through a care facility, additional terms agreed with that facility may also apply to how the service is used.

Availability

We work to keep Reminu reliable, but we may update, change, or pause parts of the service. The service is provided on an "as is" basis.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Subject to those rights, Reminu is provided without other warranties, and our liability to you is limited to the maximum extent the law allows. [This section in particular needs legal review.]

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. When an account ends, we delete the associated information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law
